Thank you 500 on Flickr! Dita Von Teese Look - Collab with Allo

  I am so excited to have my first 500 followers on Flickr!  The first 500 is special because you guys are at the start and I hope you all stay on this ride with me.  Thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. <3

  I do have a treat for you all.  My friend Allo and I collaborated on this project.  I asked him to take my photo for this special post. The photo theme is the Dita Von Teese in a Martini Glass look.  I was so very honored that he would do this project with me and wanted to know more about my friend, so we sat down together at my casa for a short get to know him interview.

  Allo lives in Netherlands and started playing Second Life, oddly enough, by seeing a commercial for it.  I myself have never seen one, so it was very curious to me that is how he started playing.  He is a photographer in real life and therefore he also has the passion for photography in his Second Life.  He started with taking photos of landscapes, sims, but he became intrigued with doing portraits of avatars.  "Is like in real life, everybody is different.  Sometimes I can find faces really beautiful, or exotic, or different.  When I see them I know if I want to make a picture of them." he says.  Besides talking about his passion for photography, I also asked Allo about men's fashion in SL.  "They are doing more things for men now." he says.  The store you will most likely find him at is Cold Ash, which is his favorite store.  When it comes to clothing in SL, Allo prefers wearing clothes he also wears in real life.  However, he also roleplays and you will sometimes see him as a Roman General or a Medieval Man.  I also love this part about SL and how you can explore to be whatever you want to be.  But the best part of SL and what keeps Allo "logged on" is taking pictures.  "Faces and more faces! And nice company." he says.
